Steffi asked me before, what do I like from all these J-Pop songs when I don't know the meaning of the lyrics. =/ Thought about it... and, isn't it the same as to how and why she likes Chinese songs when she doesn't understand the meaning? I like the music arrangements, style, tone, etc, I guess. =/ (and of course, the j-pop group itself XDDD) And from when she asked me till now, I've learnt to guess a bit of the lyrics/songs' meaning (through watching anime/j-dorama and with the help of dictionary hahaha). XP

E.g. -
Like in the 2nd verse, 1st line, "
Ikiteru tada sore dake de".
Meaning: Simply because we're alive.ikiteru - living
tada - only
sore - that
dake - only; simply
de -
particle because of (
other meanings: in; on; by; at)
And in the 2nd verse, 4th (last) line, "
Kyou wa koko de nemuritai".
Meaning: I want to sleep here today.kyou (wa) - today
koko (de) - here
nemuru - sleep
itai - want to
nemuritai - want to sleep
Or in the 5th verse, first line, "
Hontou no koe me ni mienai".
Meaning: The real voice can't be seen with the eyes.And in same verse, 2nd line, "
Utsukushisa wo daite".
Meaning: Holding on to the beauty.
So... Something like,
The real voice that's holding on to the beauty can't be seen with the eyes.You get the idea. ^^;
