burnt my finger during the second bio lab session!!! right now there's a little bulge on my right index finger. cool, eh? damn pain la. =_="
wasn'tisn't feeling so well today since the english lesson.. =/ wanted to ask ms seet whether i could go home, but decided not to. true enough, during the second bio lab session, when norfi asked if she could go home cause of sorethroat, ms seet didn't allow her to. =/
stayed till 4 in school cause of chinese remedial. =( did compo. blah. but she's rather nice, ne, allowing us to eat sweets when we're sleepy. lol. but the class (for example, me =P) will probably take advantage of that opportunity and eat even when we're not sleepy (though most of the time i am). =P

today had been a very depressing day. didn't go to church. my mum and i sat beside the pool in gardenvista talking about stuff. my sis spent her day with her bf. shan't elaborate more.
sigh. =( my mum's going on a business trip once again to different parts of indonesia from tomorrow. at least 3 nights. my dad's coming here on the 1st to accompany my sis and i.
i hope my dad can get the greencard to USA!!!! or anything that'll change our current lives. please help us, God.

sick. giddy. headache. lack of sleep. tummy-ache. didn't go school. my dad's in indonesia. my mum's in kuala lumpur. can it get any worse?
and if i think about it, rla did mention it once. my family's in so many different countries. other than my mum and dad, my bro is in US. now it's only my younger sis and me at home in singapore. sis is still in school. sigh.
my mum's coming back tonight, though. midnight, i think.
i need to get a letter.
but i'm glad i'm absent today. i can finally regain my lack of sleep. i can postpone the chem test. and i can avoid getting lectured by my chinese teacher. u see, i left my chinese file in class. >.< and the homework's there. and this morning they're supposed to do a zuo wen (compo) on why blogging is *bad. heck, yesterday i was even planning to be late on purpose for school today for one hour just so i can miss mother tongue lesson. turned out i'm really sick.

and i'll leave it to you to think whether that "great" is sarcastic or not. can be both. ;]
*zuo wen: yes, the chinese teacher wants us to agree on the fact that blogging is bad. and we can't say that it is good. and we must come up with all sorts of reasons on why it's bad.
i mean, why is it bad? scared of us venting our anger? scared of something like what the A*Star student wrote? u shouldn't, d'uh? this is a free-writing kinda type. it's up to us whether we visualize this as our online diary or not. and we know that whatever we type will be published in public. heck, that's our point. i don't forbid anyone to come to my blog, do i?
ok, so maybe it has some bad points, but it doesn't give you the right to judge that it's bad straight away. gosh.

currently doing chinese homework. 2 compre passages. =.= while doing i remembered about something to complain about mother tongue once again.
the chinese teacher really makes my blood boil. she expects us to subscribe to the chinese newspaper. yes, i know, it *SHOULD* be useful *TO NORMAL CHINESE-SPEAKING FAMILIES* to help improve their children's chinese. you know why??? that's cause they've got the gist of it already. and at the least they CAN speak chinese. in addition, they have their parents to help them if they don't understand what the heck the newspaper is saying.
sry ms seet, but i've got to take these anger out on something (my blog, in this case).
*all "you"s indicate a certain chinese teacher*
PLEASE la. 1. i'm the only one next to my *YOUNGER* sister who takes chinese lessons. my parents don't know ANYTHING, okay? not even 1 to 10. they can't help me.
2. i don't want to have any tutor for chinese. and that's because i know i'll degrade my other subjects. know what? i'd rather get a zero for this subject than to have my other subjects have their grades lowered. in fact, i've planned from long, long ago to just fail my chinese 'o' level. it doesn't hurt, u know? i've enough experiences to tell you that.
3. since pri sch and even till now, reading what they call "simple" chinese comprehension passages are super and too difficult for me. how do you expect me to read something that has characters that i've never seen before in my life in it? cause i don't know what the hell they are, i can't even search them in the freaking dictionary. and how exactly do you expect me to improve from there?
4. my family's really having some financial problems right now. we're unstable. and we have to fund my bro who's now in college in US. so how can you freaking expect us to subscribe to something that NONE of us CAN read?! omg use ur freaking brain if you don't have a heart!! do you think i talked back just now cause i'm just like the rest who can't care less?
5. is chinese gonna freaking affect my going to overseas for my further studies? even if i *might* (least likely) stay here, i'll continue in POLYTECHNIC. sorry, but i've no intentions of going to a junior college. so chinese doesn't really matter, does it? i'm going to forget all about it when get out of school. take ms phay, for the perfect example. she studied and memorised blindly just for the sake of o levels is because she wanted to go into a JC (but not in my case). and look at her now. she basically forgot all about it. my point is, it's useless when u're not interested.
6. if you're going to say that right now china has the biggest influence or increasing economy and thus it's important to learn it, it's okay if i will not get a high-paying job in the future. money isn't everything. i don't care if i have to live in a small hdb apartment (IF i even am going to stay here forever). in the first place i too have no interest in working in a big company. of course it'll be nice to be rich, but i don't care. i've lived out enough problems to withstand it. and i happen to love being a minimalist. so, knowing chinese is again not in my priority list.
7. my brain can contain some other much more useful stuff than that. something more informative & challenging like the reformed theology, psychology (what my brother is learning right now) or philosophy. and they're so much more interesting too. definitely not what you teach the class: basic values of a human being, from what that i can understand. know why? cause you're not teaching me ANYTHING. i know it all already. it's all common sense. it's in every human who has a conscious. or maybe you're like a certain traumatic male maths teacher in the school who maybe got into some trouble with the students in the past before and thus he's become like that right now. (and it's not only me who think this way. not just the students. don't think i say this from just a student's point of view.) don't know who? nevermind.

reformatted my com. now it's officially an original, validated Windows XP. but it's Home Edition!!! =.= cause this is what we have since last time.

nth much's happening in school. =/ just a lot of attire checks. ~_~||
yesterday lele, arlha, anelie, edwin and i went to orchard. rla wanted to pierce her ears (though she kept changing her mind too. haha. shanny was like scarying her~ =/) actually we were indecisive for the whole day. dinno where to go, dunno whether we should watch movie, dunno whether to pierce, blablabla. and since angeline (the MOST decisive one who most of the time led us around) is no longer here (T_T), we were very much "headless". =/
anyway we decided to go orchard. but we didn't even know whether we should stop in far east or heeren. in the end went to heeren. arlha pierced her ears there~ but somehow anelie's the one who got more freaked out. hahaha.
ok.. to make it short, after the piercing we ate in subway in cineleisure, then we went to kinokuniya in taka. after that me, rla & edwin watched Death Note 2 and we went home. anelie went home and lele met up with someone.
DN2 rocks ok. L rocks too. rocks. rocks. rocks. no wonder ervin & endi don't mind watching it twice. i won't mind too haha~ xD while watching i thought i've seen Misa somewhere before, but i forgot where. of course i've seen her before =_=.. she's shuji's (kame) 'girlfriend' in nobuta. wo produce~ duh. no wondeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer~ i got this funny weird feeling while watching lol.

today's the first day of school! glad to see friends again. x) and i can't believe i'm now in sec 4. 4/1, at that (for some reason =/).
but somehow today i got a lot lot lot lot lot of comments about my appearance. =_=" everybody knows i just cut my hair recently. and everybody *should* know that tying my hair up isn't my best ability. tell me where other than school do you see my tie my hair up. never. zen zen nai. yeaaa!! cause the the person cut my hair until too short, i really was at a lost as to how i should tie it up. i wasted like 10 minutes trying to tie it up this morning!! since it's super difficult, i just go for the easy way, tie it super lowly, at the part where my hair is really long. and i thought that the rest of my hair that's shorter (layered) can just be like my short hair in the past. but that's where i kena. =_=
ms seet! will you believe me if i tell you that today is the very first time in my whole life that i got called so many times for my appearance? x.X my clean record is now tainted. lols. corny. =P

--- there's quite a few changes from last year. =/ our class is now on the highest level of the school. =_= it's on the 5th floor i think. it's like this: 5/1 [anelie's there!], 5/2 [edwin's there!], 4/1 [our class], 4/2 [shanny's there!].
mrs koh is now no longer here, so all maths lessons are taken by ms chong. arlha's prayers are all answered. english, my only hope, and ss will now be taught by ms phay. geog will be taught by a new teacher, mrs irene stevens(?). still dunno which one is her.
everything's fine except for my sitting position. honestly, being in the very last row, sitted between yang fan and shawn is a bit too uncomfortable for me!
- firstly, my vision isn't all that good, and cause wearing my specs will make me feel giddy at times, i try not to wear it too often. but now that i sit at the back, i've no choice but to wear it.
- secondly, my grades aren't that great, and now i've no one around me to help except for shawn who's really good in physics (but sadly, physics happens to be the only science subject that i can at least cope with).
- thirdly, sitted in between shawn and yang fan is so totally awkward!!! many people've told me already to beware of those 2 quarrelling. but the fact that they're too quiet is also getting on my nerves! at least shawn is friendly. and thank god, leslie is across of me. but i dun think yf is even trying to ease the tension. =.= the whole day i didn't dare to look on my left cause his expression was just too cold. =.=
demo, shikata ga nainda, na? =/ nothing i can do. live with it. adapt. =/
--- just 1 more year. and i have to make my decision pretty soon. US, UK or poly. i've decided not to go to jc.

is this probably the worst new year ever? my sis and i were super grumpy yesterday from morning till night. the place we went to for dinner (some chinese restaurant in vivo city) that's actually much more expensive than crystal jade sucked.
the food sucked. yuck. =.= the dessert sucked. =.= the price sucked. =.= and we spent $99.50. wtf? worse still, the minimum amount you have to spend to get some prize is $100. chikusho.
then the fireworks turned out to be only in sentosa. they were so low and hidden behind the trees that we could only see a speck of it. and worse still, they ended in less than 5 minutes. and we waited for half an hour outside cause we couldn't get any seats in ANY cafe while waiting. AND, the whole time my sis was complaining about how she was super sleepy and how she should've just slept in the car.
