went to angel's sweet 17 party last night. very, veryfun. my sis, edwin and i reached yen yen restaurant first before diana, arlha and harris. saw and waved to eddiek who's eating inside too. haha. still looking the same. (so turned out we never get to meet steffi [anyone knows her indon number?] and ryan [he's already back in sg. *swt*] here.) anyways. back to angel's party. party's on the 3rd floor. vip karaoke room. hehh. angel looked so nice. xD black all the way (just like me, my sis, arlha, diana, edwin. =p harris wore pink shirt. *urgh* more abt this later. ~_~). and make-ups by a saloon. haha. looks like a grown up but still acts like usual. =p
we gave her the presents, signed on a board, took a mini gift from her and then sat down while waiting for the party to start. turned out it just started at 7:15. supposedly 6:30. so there were introductions by the sarcastically-not-sarcastic emcee (heard he's angel's tae kwon do instructor last time) and a lot of teasing before he asked her to sing.
angel, being so very evil, and the MC not waiting for arlha and diana, called me and edwin out as "temen2 choir" (choir friends). then the stupid MC who's a really badly hearing impaired person made fun of my name and called me kijang. a type of car here. -_-" we then sang "take these wings" but stopped somewhere cause we forgot the lines. xp hello? we weren't prepared for it. and haha. i sang with my worst voice ever there.
after that, it was time to eat. nice food. but i didn't eat the soup. >_<;; should've taken. it was now that arlha and diana arrived, and harris after we finished eating. then it was lights out. candle-holding time. i was paired up with edwin and with 14 other people. we stood at the side in front facing one another. each of us described her in a word and she blew our candles off. next activity. a gross one. 10 guys were called. had to kiss a teddy bear each at different places. so we could guess what would happen when the first two guys were asked to stand facing the other, right? and you know what? harris and edwin were standing next to one another. and harris kissed the bear on the lips. urgh. so he had to kiss edwin on the lips. luckily it only touched the nose. or so edwin thinks. gosh i pity him. edwin had to kiss the stomach of the next guy. then it was the butt and foot next. the rest are just on the hand or forehead or somewhere else.
then we took photos, closed in prayer and the end. 10 pm sharp.
heck, this is one long post. the longest one for just one event. or the post itself, actually.
