That wallpaper was my first design, actually.
But I changed the font and added the little banner between the words for this layout.
It turned out to be nicer, I hope. x)

I got so pissed at trying to change my LJ's layout yesterday. >=(
It was okay at first (even the annoying colour scheme -- orange), until I thought something was off.
When I tried to change the whole layout template, everything became a mess.
I couldn't even replace it with the previous RyoPi skin. =_="
So I gave up and replace this "blog"'s layout instead.
Simply cause Blogger is SO MUCH easier to handle! @_@

i forgot everything when i clicked +new post, that's why i didn't update these past few days. =P

some inspirations from reading anelie's blog: the progress monitoring program.
last week i had some trouble following the weekly plan, but i'll try to start from tomorrow onwards, i guess. for today, i've to make sure i do the bio paper ms seet wants us to do, and study for the e maths test tomorrow.

friday was the very first time we stayed back for the study program. it's made compulsory now, huh. =/ but i won't elaborate on this since everyone probably knows how it feels like already. surprisingly, i was put on the 'coping' side (AVT). but it's not much of a question anymore when ms seet divides the class simply into just 2 sections. lol.
oh, remind me to bring jacket on monday! x)

i had 'o' level oral on thursday too. =_=" i wasn't bothered too much about it until just before i entered the examination room. one of the examiner's eyes were so big and open that i became afraid, but i don't know why, i didn't try to look at the other examiner. i think she was too uninterested, that's why i didn't look at her. =/ passage was horrible. conversation wise, it's lucky enough that i understood the question: only 40% of singaporeans are exercising enough, what can you do to help them blax3.

before the oral started, someone wished me good luck, and hence started the endless teasing from edwin + anelie. =_=" and now it seems that for every different moment, a song goes along with it. lols. this one's quite funny, so i'm not complaining much. xD

hmm. i'll talk about yesterday then.
a distant relative of mine (that i hardly see), was a drug addict, but is now repenting and has finally agreed to stay in a rehabilitation centre here. (: thank God.
my grandmother said he's now a much better ~~kid~~ person. ^^
i don't know how old he is, about 20+ i guess.
anyway, we were invited to the Breakthrough Mission's 24th Anniversary.
basically what you see in a normal church happened yesterday. singing + preaching + sharing by the people recuperating and alumni of the Breakthrough Mission.
well, the sharing part is not included in my church here, but there is a session for that in my church in indonesia (from the general).
only one thing was horrible.
the main service was held in ~~the language i hated.~~CHINESE!!!!!!!
only the preaching part was translated to english.
oh, and it's an indonesian, the deputy manager of Lippo Group, who made that preach.
considering he's in Lippo Group, you can tell he was talking about the economy trend, huh.
so i sort of lost interest, but still tried to listen. =/
we were seated outside under a tent on the grass... with fans, luckily.
so i was pretty restless yesterday. =x and busy flicking ants off my mom's pants. xP
there was a dinner buffet after that too, but it's just the local food. ~_~
apparently my grandmother, cousins and i didn't pretty like the food. =X
*hits oneself* i should be grateful enough to be given the food. lol.
yeah, anyway, that's all about it, i guess.

AND HANA KIMI EPISODE ONE ROCKS OKAY!!!!!!!!!
the rating was only 15.9%, but that's pretty above the average of other shows already.
in fact, this is the highest rating for the spring season~ yay! =DD
the 2nd highest was 14% and 11% and so on.
i prefer this version by MUCH, though only episode 1 has come out!!
a lot of CG was used here haha.
i watched it 4 times omg lol.
first, by myself, then, with my sis, then, with my cousin, and lastly with my mum. XD
it's very fun-filling! xD and the school was very... colourful~
ashiya mizuki (horikita maki), rui xi (ella) in the tw version, is a definite win. =D
she didn't act cute at all, which i SO LOOOOOOOOVE! xD
sano izumi (oguri shun), on the other hand, zuo yi quan (wu zhun) in tw ver, is also much colder here. no complaints! XD shun wa yappari kakkoii na hito desu yo ne~~
i prefer nakatsu shuichi (ikuta toma) here much more than jin xiu yi (jiro?) also!

i swear, living in this block at this level...
probably at least once a month i will get to see a new type of insect!
like, a few minutes ago, i saw yet another species of a beetle in the kitchen.
it's about 2 to 3 cm long, with long antennas.
and it's wings are full of white dots.
and it was clinging onto a newly-washed plate!

i've seen at least 3 different types of beetles, 4 different butterfly species, 2 spider species (house spider and some other species) and a few different types of birds!

Steffi asked me before, what do I like from all these J-Pop songs when I don't know the meaning of the lyrics. =/ Thought about it... and, isn't it the same as to how and why she likes Chinese songs when she doesn't understand the meaning? I like the music arrangements, style, tone, etc, I guess. =/ (and of course, the j-pop group itself XDDD) And from when she asked me till now, I've learnt to guess a bit of the lyrics/songs' meaning (through watching anime/j-dorama and with the help of dictionary hahaha). i just realised that my last post was my 444th one. lols.

it's been so long since i dreamed something ne~
and this time i can remember it too haha.
but it's a pretty weird dream.
lols yi wei (i just realised he's the only guy whom i called by his chinese name though he has an english name lols. i don't know why.) and dixie appeared in my dream?!
talk about randomness.
the last time i ever saw them was 3 to 4 years ago! x|

so the setting was in this restaurant, i think.
and there was a small bomb in the toilet lols.
then it seemed dixie and i were inside.
now, how come dixie's in a girl's toilet?
or if the victim was a man, why was i in a boy's toilet?
was the toilet unisex? hahaha~
yea, this victim was badly burnt in the left side of the face (harry in spiderman 3? LOLS!).
hmm... then the toilet was out of bounds to everyone it seemed, but the 3 of us (yi wei, dixie and i) could go in... some kinda investigators? haha.
then a woman 'cried' outside the toilet, and tried to enter the scene, ne, but she was blocked by dixie~
she said she's the victim's gf/wife/wdv and that yi wei allowed her to go in.
so i helped dixie to block her by pulling her wrist when she tried to enter again. (very detailed ne...)
then suddenly the woman snickered, saying that people like yi wei who allows people into the crime scene is unreliable or something and that she only wanted to test the 3 of us, not even caring about the victim.

rubbish lah hahaha.
that's some stupid dream.
and then i woke up after that.

recently my family friend came from indonesia.
one of them is my childhood friend since we were 5 years old (11 yrs already?).
she's 8 months older than me, has an australian dad, thai mom and a li'l sis.
last time i saw her was... 4 to 6 years ago?
and we found a lot of similarities! xD
maybe i turn out the way i am now is because i used to play with her everyday? =x

-hate horror movies

-our best science subject is physics

-have no fashion sense (LOLS!)

anyway, she came to play yesterday.
we watched lovely complex (both (1st ep) anime and dorama lols), 1st ep of death note anime, beginning of death note: the last name and 10th epi of la corda d'oro until 3+. XPPP
we forgot about lunch. lols.

we ate lunch in jurong east and then we went ice-skating.
saw this girl who used to be in choir... ¬_¬
seemed her friend was having a birthday..
but i'll admit her friends are pro-skaters! x.X
then there were these 3 other (unrelated) people who were... totally enjoying themselves.
1 old man, 2 young guys (1 ugly, 1 has style xP). they were skating in a line.
the old man's movements were breathtaking okay... like, really.
he was literally dancing, spreading his arms and all, oblivious to others, like the whole skating rink was his own world.
i felt like taking video la haha.
anyway, i fell down once yesterday while speeding.
a lot of the ice melted yesterday and i just had to fall on the watery area.
and it hurt like hell. ¬_¬ my elbow bled lols.

after skating we bought tickets to spiderman 3 @ 8:45.
then we brought my friend to the national library, but we bumped onto another family friend of mine, so my parents chatted with them in the cafe till 8:40. ~_~
no dinner! so we bought a super large popcorn~ =/
finished at 11 pm, then we sent my friend back home.
drove in to McD to buy dinner then we finally went home.

what for spend so much time on a useless subject that's not going to be passed?
during the 4 to 5 hours that's already over i nearly fell asleep for countless times.

i guess i'll give a *'short' update of how terrible my exams have been..
and it's going to continue till next week.

despite how bad my a maths is (very bad to the point where i've gotten Fs before), though, i still can't seem to hate it. surprising ne?

now, some people probably have been thinking why i look so indifferent even after some horrible paper.
the thing is, your paper's done. and there's nothing else you can do to change it (especially when you just realise you know the answer after the paper's been passed up).
you can only wait till the paper is returned to you, then you can start doing something about it.
just being crazy about it after your paper's finished doesn't change a thing, and is not going to.
so it's not that i don't care or anything.

oh yeah. my blog's now 2 years old!
it's actually officially 2 yrs old on May 5th but, just like last year, i forgot on the day itself cause it's the exam period. =.=
a few days before i actually remembered that this day was coming, yet i forgot again.
sigh. one of the bad things about MYE.. they make you forget stuff!

before i hit the books...

something stupid happened in the bus yesterday.
in the bus, steffi was sitting with arlha, and i was sitting alone across of them as usual.
a few bus stops later, a guy came in and sat beside me.
a while later, this fart smell can me smelled around us, and we suspect it's the guy beside me.
then in indo i said: "jgn2 org sebelah gw nih.. tadi gw rada ngeliat dia ngangkat diri.."
which translates to: "maybe it's the person beside me.. i saw him lifting himself up a bit.."
i said the second part softly, dunno why.
then steffi really said it.
the second part of what i said, i mean.
the three of us laughed like siao.
then it was normal again............
THEN he received a phone call, and he replied to that person:
"*smthsmth* ntar ketemuan di *smthsmth*"
it's like omg i was super shocked that he's indo can.
i was watching stuff so my head was facing downwards...
then i suddenly shoot up.
arlha & steffi asked me what happened.
then i dunno what to say cause if i say in english, he surely will understand.
if i speak in indo, he probably can also understand (at first i wasn't sure..)!
then a&s suspected that what i meant was that he's indo.
i'm super embarrassed la!
by this moment he was sitting with his back facing my side.
i laughed secretly till my whole face turned heaty red and tears even came out okay.
the worst thing is i saw the guy himself trying to resist his smile!!!!!!
rofl. that's probably the funniest & most embarrassing thing that's ever happened in my life.
we alighted at the same bus stop and he went down really quickly haha.
and i was so in a daze so i forgot to tap my ez-link again. =.=
i'm using the adult ez-link cause i had no change and my ez-link is lost, remember?

anyway, i'll just cut short on the rest.
went towning with arlha, steffi, edwin, diana, angel and maureen.

when the rest already went home, edwin and i stayed with angel and maureen to wait for their friend and her bf.
i still dunno her name. (maybe angel also?)
then my parents fetched me and told me to postpone the tuition till 8.
turned out my teacher's not feeling well, so the next time i see her is on tuesday.
then my sis was all moody, then i became moody, had dinner, then i told them the stupid thing that happened in the bus, then everything was well again. *phew*
then my sis went with her bf, and my parents and i went to lido.
bought tickets for this korean movie, 200 Pounds Beauty.
i insisted on watching to release my stress. ~_~
super funny la.
but i scared i'd be like her omg.
really. must. go. on. a. diet.

Speech Day's today!!!
and this marks the last practice and performance for choir! T_T
i certainly do no wish to go back to my studies...
but what the heck, i've no choice. =.=

oh yea, they announced the new choir ex-co members today!
so from today onwards i'm officially no longer the choir vice-president.
pretty sad, but it's okay. haha.
instead, clarice becomes the VP now, and jasmine takes over her place as the president.
hmm, the ex-co this year is pretty huge, especially considering the fact that we have so few members now. =/

the seniors, carene and hilary (and hui yi and eileen and amanda i think) joined us to sing Celebration of Life today! =D

actually i have quite a few pictures to be posted up,
but i have to recharge my camera first, so, be patient! x)

i ate a LOT, LOT, LOT, LOT, LOT of stuff today!!! O_O
so much so that it's uber scary.

at 4 a.m. this morning when i was scratching my head and going crazy doing e maths probability homework, i got so starved up that my tummy growled super loudly. so i went to the fridge, took out a packet of five-star's (shop name) chicken rice, heated it and then ate it.

then after school today for a span of between 11.30 AM to 7.30 PM, i ate a total of 5 small different pizzas, 1 drumlet, 1 wing (1/2 section of the wing, i dunno what that's called), plate of fried rice and 2 fish balls. cool, eh?

THEN, for dinner, i ate 3 spoons of chicken rice (five-star too), veggie, 2 you tiao and fruiiits!!!

omggggg i really need to limit myself.
stop gorging myself with food!
don't fall to temptations!!!

i need someone to remind me. =/

and begin to lose weight, please, kezia.

syf. wtfomg i actually "cracked" during the arirang performance? it's totally shitty, okay, the whole performance... (for me, at least, since it wasn't my best perf.) and the results... we'll see tmr (actually, i know already, but i'm supposed to keep it a secret till tmr ~_~). good news? bad news? i'm not supposed to say it here. but i think you can tell already? keep guessing.

okay. so how do i really feel about choir (since everyone has shared their part of the story of missing it next time)? with this friday's speech day being our very last performance and all. honestly, since my primary school days i've always ~~liked~~loved being in choir. so it was no different during all these times. i don't think this comes as a surprise ne, since i was always the one who is "most excited" as they say, whenever there is practice..

i was in the choir in church in p4 till p6, choir in sec 2 till now, and am planning to join the choir in church again next year.. so honestly i don't find choir all that unbearable, especially when you have everyone like CHIPmates over there (dan si 'dia' dulu.. hehehe.. xP klo ga tau mah keterlaluan namanya..). and especially also when we still have angel, diana and ervin with us..

sigh. anyway, i'm gonna bloody hell miss choir. being truthfully honest, here. i'm sooooooo not ready to face my books right now. you know, i use choir as an excuse partly to put aside my books first. i just don't want to face reality. one where you have to study damn hard ~~(for nothing)~~. seriously, you study NOT so you can learn more, but it's for the mere sake of surviving in this world where nothing is free. it's just a delusion. here you use "gain more knowledge" as the excuse to not lose out with the world. i mean, it's human nature and instinct to find ways to survive, and this is just one of the ways.

2 straight unlucky days for me!

2 DAYS AGO:
let's see.. it's thursday, ne?
hmm... my unlucky happeningS today ARE...
i lost my EZ-link card in the bus in the morning!!!
the thing is, went i boarded the bus, i already tapped the machine!
then i sat down at the most frontal seat of SBS 170.
the next thing i felt was something went missing on me.
and tadaa- my EZ-link is gone. poof!

after school.
me, anelie, steffi, arlha, shanny, lele, edwin, eddiek, robinson, prashant, thomas went to shanny's house to take a basketball.
on the road, the baby star i just bought burst open and 99.9% fell onto the ground!
halfway while crossing the road, at that. urgh!!

then it rained, so we played UNO instead with dina without the guys except edwin.
it took 1 to 2 hours and the game still hasn't ended! haha.
only anelie, arlha and i managed to finish our cards~ xD

YESTERDAY:
stupid friday the 13th. (not that i believe it)
weather just had to be freak with continuous rain and sun.
it's like, it changes every 1 hour.
scratch that, sports day was not just 1 hr. =="
and cause it's sports' day, many people lost their voice.
(just great. syf, getting a silver is now totally impossible. -.-)
what's worse is, they released us 1 and a half hour later than scheduled.
and so we could only buy our food for take-away cause there was choir soon.
worse, it rained again. we had to run all the way to school. =.=
and cause we were late, told to eat in 10 minutes, MY FISH FELL ONTO THE FLOOR!!!
